Our week started out with this Mama finally having her jogging stroller in working order. We went out for a walk.

On our way home we saw this outside a neighbor’s house. They don’t get into Halloween at all do they?

Wednesday, pills I came down from the bathroom to this. I gave him a spatula, mind the colander, and the cutting board. Everything else you see he pulled out while I wasn’t watching him. I just knew this was going to be an interesting week.

I guessed right. I made myself a double strength green tea, which my son proceeded to spill when he tried to “clean up” the green tea that was INSIDE my cup with a paper towel… the stuff I was still drinking. It’s a little funny now, but it was very exasperating then.

Thankfully nap time was on the horizon. I rocked my sweet boy to sleep in the rocking chair before Grammie came over later that evening.

Neylan “played baseball” while Mommy watch the World Series.

Which, of course, the Red Sox won!

On Thursday, Auntie Jody came over. Neylan had a blast playing, even though I was too tired to enjoy the festivities. Auntie Jody brought Neylan a new extra warm blanket that he curled up under for an unexpected nap time. I was so thankful! I even got a one hour nap in.
Auntie Jody also brought candy for our trick-or-treaters. Sadly, we didn’t have any.

Instead of doing anything out for Halloween, as it’s not something we really celebrate, we stayed in and watched the Munsters and Felix the Cat.

Friday was a day full of trying to keep Neylan out of the kitchen. I had to snap a picture of one of his “I must have candy corn” attempts. He was standing on a chair. Promise.

Saturday  was a very good day. Ney got to see Auntie Rei before we went to the mall. At the mall we picked up my Enterprise D model. Yes, mine.

We also stopped by the bookstore. I found Running With Scissors for $4. SCORE!

On Sunday, I decided that I needed to find my “goal pants”. These were the pants I was looking to fit into when I first signed up on My Fitness Pal. I’d have to say goal accomplished! While they don’t fit me around the hips– they are straight down rather than curvy fit and I will never get rid of these hips– I can zip them up and they are VERY loose around the waist. SCOREx2!

By the way, the mismatched socks? That’s a thing I do. *smirk*
