Wow! What a day!!!

As I am sure you already well know by now, healing the entire household has been dealing with that monster cold that has been going around. I promise you, pharm it has not been fun at all. I think that I am finally starting to get over it, although I feel absolutely miserable at night and in the mornings.

Seeing as today was Saturday and I was still not feeling too grand, I decided to take a nap, after waking up long enough to give my son his meds and spend time with the hubby (though it is clearly never enough). And I did! I fell asleep at about noon and woke up with Neylan in my arms, hungry, at about 3 PM.

I bet you are wondering how in the world I can feel accomplished, considering that I slept the day away. Aha! But not the evening!

So far today the hubby and I have done laundry. While Neylan and I were napping, Abbie had the quiet time to code for a Porc 411 project, which you can find right here . After I woke up, I decided to prepare dinner.

Dinner comprised chicken breasts, tomato sauce, carrots, onions, olives, tomatoes, and organic wheat noodles. It was easy, again. 🙂 Cook noodles. Chop up onions, tomato, and carrots and open can of olives can of tomato sauce. place them (using only half the can of olives and half the can of tomato sauce) in a baking sheet that has been seasoned with olive oil for anti-stickiness. Put ground garlic powder and other seasonings to taste, then mix. Put thawed chicken breasts on top, coving them with the rest of the tomato sauce. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes (or until chicken is fully cooked). Take out, and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 5 more minutes.

Let’s just say that dinner was absolutely scrumptious!

Now left on the agenda: Wash bedding, fold and put away laundry, and whatever else that I decide. Dishes are done and food is put away. Feeling good. ^_^

Feeling REAAALLLLYYY good,
